A teal hummingbird perched on a wire vine branch, beak tilted upward toward a closed pink tulip bud — two blush-pink glass petals with a pale green glass calyx, not yet open. The bird’s head is deep teal-green, its breast white hammered-texture glass with painted orange-red gorget streaks, its feet pink glass gripping the wire branch. Of all the hummingbird designs in the shop, this one carries the strongest new beginnings symbolism: the bird is reaching toward a bud that has not yet opened, a composition that speaks to hope, potential, and things just starting. Every other hummingbird listing pairs the bird with an open flower; this is the only one with a closed bud. The teal-and-white colour palette and the upward gaze of the bird reinforce that quality.
